This home is a 1920s brick bungalow with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in approximately 1000 square feet. The two bedrooms each have an entrance to the centrally located bathroom. There is a closet in one bedroom and two in the other. A large dining room adjoins a galley kitchen that has a breakfast nook overlooking an adjacent greenspace and flower garden. There is something blooming most of the growing season.
The kitchen has a dishwasher as well as a clothes washer at the far end. A clothes dryer is out on the back enclosed porch, less than six feet from the washer.
The bathroom is centrally located with an entry from each bedroom. It is furnished with a pedestal sink, clawfoot tub and authentic small ceramic hexagonal tile flooring.
The living room has a decorative fireplace (non-functioning). Old-style box beams decorate the ceiling in the living and dining areas. An east facing bonus room serves as an ideal office or small bedroom.
The garage has an electric door opener and enters into the unheated basement of the house. There is storage space in the basement/garage.
The house is heated with a natural gas forced-air furnace and there is central air conditioning.
Across the street is a seven acre greenspace (seen in slide #9 above). One block away is the Glenn's Creek Greenway with paved walkways through beautiful landscaping.

"My husband and I moved to Asheville and stumbled upon the most adorable rental on King Street. This was our first 'home' in Asheville and it was absolutely lovely. We could not have asked for better landlords/neighbors and the love and care that they put into their homes is truly refreshing." -- Parker, Katie and baby Charlotte
